Moment of Pride – RDO Become Chair of IAMC

Rural Development Organization became represented in the Industry Academia Management Committee IAMC of Vocational Institute Female Charsadda through Mr Majid Ali, Manager Programmes. The process began with a formal invitation issued by the Acting Principal, Mrs Wajeeha Kaleem, on 16 September 2026. Mr Majid Ali attended the committee meeting held at the institute on 17 September 2026, where the members selected the Chairperson through consultation and voting. He was unanimously selected as Chairperson of the IAMC.
The committee links vocational education with industry so that training remains responsive to the labour market and learners gain access to internships, apprenticeships and employment. Following his selection, Mr Majid Ali visited the institute, reviewed students’ work and institutional activities, and appreciated the quality of the students’ skills and the institute’s vocational training efforts. The members also agreed to meet every three months to review progress, assess institute activities and identify areas for improvement. A subsequent official notification dated 21 September 2026 listed Mr Majid Ali as Chairman of the IAMC and invited the committee members to a GIZ training scheduled for 23 September 2026.
